Linda Pepper

Linda Pepper was born in Chicago, IL.

“Art” began in childhood. She enrolled at the University of Wisconsin as an art major in metalsmithing and transferred to the University of Iowa in painting and drawing with a teaching assistantship in design.

In 1982 she moved to Washington, DC. and worked as a volunteer at the Smithsonian Institution at SAAM and as a design assistant at The Renwick Gallery. She was a member of The Foundry Gallery in Washington, DC with representation at The Francine Seders Gallery, Seattle, WA. She has been represented by Addison/ Ripley and William Parker Fine Art in Washington, DC. From 2003 to 2017, she served as the Congressional Art Competition Coordinator for Congressman Chris Van Hollen. Linda’s work has been included in the Department of State’s Art in Embassies Program, in the collections of The Washington Post, The Hyatt Corporation, Lowes, and The University of Iowa Museum of Art.
