Opening November 3, 2019
Ch/Art with the Village of Chevy Chase is sponsoring a juried exhibit exploring ways in which we all “Connect-Dis/Connect.” There are many interpretations of this theme: globally, personally, electronically, as a society. The exhibit will run from Sunday, November 3, to Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at the Chevy Chase Village Hall. The application is open to all members of Ch/Art.
All two-dimensional, wired, and ready-to-hang visual expressions of “Connect-Dis/Connect” in various media are welcome. Because the Village Hall will be open to classes and meetings during the exhibition, there are no accommodations for 3-dimensional work. Artworks should not exceed 36″ x 36″, including frame.
A reception is scheduled for Sunday, November 3, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Village Hall. Because of Village restrictions, no direct sales are permitted during the exhibit. Interested buyers should contact the artist directly. Artist contact information will be available at the reception and throughout the exhibit.
All entries are due September 13, 2019. There will be a $25 charge to submit 3 JPEG images.
