Limor Dekel
Limor Dekel, a versatile artist, transitioned from dance to visual arts at age 15. Raised in Israel, she immersed herself in creative pursuits and later studied ceramics design at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. In 1984, Limor moved to the US, where she established a successful ceramic art studio in Maryland, garnering awards and media recognition for her work. For 21 years, she shared her passion for art as a teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools all the while exploring new artistic skills and mediums. Limor's artistic journey has evolved to include painting and sculpture, showcased in galleries and exhibitions such as Sandy Spring Museum in MD and Hill Center in Washington, DC. Ms. Dekel participates in outdoors art fairs along the east coast, from Florida to New York. She is a member of Ch/Art, Montgomery Art Association, and Rehoboth Art League.
