Sonita Singh

Art is an opportunity to interpret one's environment and elicit emotion from the viewer. Sonita tries to evoke serenity and peace, reflecting her joy of creating art. Her goal is to transport the viewer and bring pause and calm into our busy lives.

Her introduction to creating art began at Walt Whitman High School under Walt Bartman and ironically she continues to be inspired by him on his international painting trips 40 years later. Continued art instruction was sporadic after 8 years of training to become a board certified Family Medicine physician. She maintains a full-time medical practice in North Bethesda and is thrilled to find a community where she can share her art.
