Leslie Harris

Leslie Harris is a contemporary artist working in diverse media, including painting, mixed media, and three-dimensional assemblages. Her work offers an imaginary and abstracted view of the world. She describes her process as “a journey of discovery” in which she follows her imagination to find places of wonder and places of refuge from our troubled world. She finds inspiration in poetry, her global travels, and deep connection to the natural world.

Her work has been widely exhibited in the Washington, DC area. She is a member of the Studio Gallery and a founder and Board member of Ch/Art, a community arts organization in Washington, DC and Chevy Chase, MD.
