Erin Joshi

After practicing law for over a decade, Erin Joshi shifted her focus to more creative pursuits, including painting, writing, refinishing furniture, and gardening. She is now a full-time painter and Board Chair of Ch/Art.

Joshi paints a range of subjects, from still life compositions to landscapes and animals, but all share a common vision: to capture what is beneath the surface—motion in stillness, warmth in cold, and beauty in the ordinary. To create vibrant, dimensional color, Joshi's compositions are created with many layers of acrylic paint. Much of her work explores the way light and shadow transform scenes and objects from ordinary to extraordinary.

When she isn't painting, Joshi loves to travel and spend time with her family. She particularly enjoys outdoor adventures like skiing, hiking, zip-lining and snorkeling.
