Maria-Victoria Checa

Maria-Victoria Checa is a Washington, DC-based contemporary artist who works in two distinct bodies: impressionist landscape paintings and purely abstract works. Her impressionist paintings of water lilies, forests, and wildflowers across imaginary landscapes radiate a sense of joy and liveliness—a quality her followers have commented on over time.
