Pamela Joy Trow
Pamela Joy Trow is a multidisciplinary artist known for her vivid color palette, intricate detail, and imaginative themes. With a background in graphic design, illustration, and creative direction, she brings a storyteller’s eye to paintings, prints, and thoughtfully designed paper goods.
After years creating campaigns for businesses and nonprofits, Pamela launched The Art of Pamela Joy Trow in 2008. Her artwork is transformed into prints, greeting cards, bookmarks, stickers, and other paper goods featuring mermaids, sugar skulls, and mythic motifs for retail and wholesale markets.
Her work spans acrylic and ink, digital art, and fiber, drawing inspiration from Brooklyn’s mythology, Atlanta’s cultural energy, Oregon’s natural beauty, Santa Fe’s Day of the Dead traditions, and Florida’s Gulf Coast.
An experienced educator, Pamela has taught at The Portfolio Center, The Art Institute of Atlanta, and Central Oregon Community College. She also created Getting Your Art Into Retail Environments, a workshop series helping artists expand into product-based businesses.
Now based in Maryland, Pamela continues to create, teach, and share her work through her independent studio and global paper-based business.
